About Me 
Hello, I am Rob Kuijt and I am part-time developer and full-time tester (Yes...there are more than eight hours in one day ;-)

I studied electronics in Alkmaar in the Netherlands and started my career in IT at the Academic Hospital VU in Amsterdam, where I gained experience in programming, design, project management, testing and quality assurance. Eight years later (1988) I joined the software company Sogeti Nederland B.V. where I fulfilled assignments ranging from auditing and test consultancy to organising and managing large test projects. I aided in developing the structured test approach TMap®, a de facto standard in the Benelux, and have implemented this in several organisations.
Nowadays my main responsibility within Sogeti is teamlead development/sr. test consultant at Model Based Services.

During the years my focus has shifted to the development process itself in order to improve the quality of the software during creation instead of detecting the problems in the acceptance test. In the latest version of TMap® (TMap® Next) I wrote chapter 7 "Development Tests", and because of the lack of automatic support for the test specification process I developed a set of tools for generating test cases......and that set is still growing ...
